Stumble itMedy (Pokwang), a make-up artist, was given the chance of a lifetime to accompany a concert star to the United States for a performance. She promised her family that she will return after a week. However, while in America, she stumbled upon a former classmate Helen (Beth Tamayo) who convinced her to stay for good in the land of milk and honey. She initially refused, but eventually gave in, when she got a call one night from her husband that they need a big amount of money to bring her youngest daughter to the hospital. America has not been the friendliest to her and our story begins with her coming home to Manila literally with nothing.

people must/should watch this movie…especially those families who have parents abroad or an OFW. Tear jerker talaga, grabe sulit may nakakatawa din at nakakaiyak talaga..at may lessons n mpupulot! Mga actors…thumbs up ako lalo kay Pokwang.

such a great movie , I was really carried away and cried a lot. It’s quite similar with my story but in opposite situation, I am a daughter and I’m working here abroad to support my parents and siblings. I’m always thinking about their future and give them a good life without even thinking what I want for my self. hmmm

So difficult being away from your children especially at their early age. I experienced this. Not only you will suffer but the children as well. There are times that they will say …we don’t need material things but what we need is you mom…breaks my heart. They’re grown up now and thanks God they were raised up by my parents with godly manner. They were all graduated and now working. But I missed the old, old days that we were together.

beautiful movie,,everybody must watch this..specially for those who are in the philippines,who have a mother,father,relatives abroad..its reaally hard to leave the family but we must do it for the future of our love ones..i hope this movie will touch your heart and think that were here not to make fun and enjoy here abroad…were working for our love ones to have a better future thats what wre thinking…by this movie you will understand us…its not easy to be far….

Nakakaiyak talaga ang ganda ng istorya proud at saludo ako sa mga OFW na nanay. Nakapahirap at pagsasacripisyo para nabigyan ng magandang kinabukasan ang mga anak…proud din ako kay Pokwang..

Sadyang d matatawaran ang pagmamahal ng isang ina, lahat ibibigay para sa kinabukasan ng mga anak.. . Ako bilang nanay,inisip ko narin pumunta ng abroad para mkipagsapalaran para sa kinabukasan ng anak ko pero iniisip ko pa lang na mawalay ako sa piling ng anak kong ilang taon parang tinutusok ang puso ko. Hwag sana natin maliitin ang kakayahan ng isang ina, madali mang lumuha pero matatag ang damdamin, para sa pamilya titiisin ang lahat hirap man at pagod.. Mabuhay ang mga INA! So inspiring.. .
